Dark Triangular Hearbeats

It's hard to see truth with their eyes wide shut
Because lookin down is confused with up.
And yet lookin down never seemed so right
Shrug it off and get the soul, heart and mind right.
With the pitter patter of the heartbeats thump on, thump off.
The compass points true North, the truth is there...somewhere.
Yet somewhere is hidden. But hidden Where?

Is it in my head, or is it in yours?
Is it in the writing that we share or is it in the way we write?

We bypass all messaging.
Hidden in the subliminal junctions forward coming
Reassurance bypasses as lights flicker and smoke clears.

Together the truth depicts the etch of a saint.
The truth couldn't be prettier.
Sadly the words couldn't be more ugly.

As the paper planes filled with love me notes fly past our heads.
As hard as we try... we can't catch them.

When we realized that all the planes of love were burning...blowing in the wind...
Yet we danced on the ashes of something perfect, we just didn't mind.
We danced until our feet ached, blisters boiling, filled with puss
We danced until our souls ached, yes we danced, danced to the rhythm of a triangular heartbeat. The beat goes on.

Silence now, as the beat fades, as it stay in our mind...we remember the beginning, middle and end as they were the closest thing to truth that we can search for.
Our blisters have healed, and the ashes, smoke and paper trails are gone.
The letters are engraved on to our skins, like tattoos upon our hearts.

So the dance has ended.
The hearts have mended.
And all we have left are imprints of one another.
The triangle is the symbol of our truth...its a truth that we still seek.
The Truth is our triangle...its our burning dance...for one another.

And still, this truth is a dark secret.
Seeking forgiveness from all those who feed on eavesdropping.
They chuckle, twitter, and laugh, and continue.
This love has no shame, for it is a triangle, that can't be cut by even God's scissors. And we say again, we laugh again, engage in lust again, and love even stronger.
